I really think its about life and human struggles....emotions versus reality....pain and joyous, hope and desapointment, despair and the strong will to survive...at times we simply want to quit, in others we hold on to life with blood....at the end of our time we all lose power and existence and become passive. The 2 crawling men in white would represent angels in heaven...or maybe the angle of death...

This is what I love about the circus. People train their entire lives purely to entertain and enthrall audience, even if that means pain and suffering. You just have to admire the dedication. They totally earned my respect.

I train on tissu every day for things like this; I can completely understand the pain that she emphasizes through this act. These moves that she does and holds are NOT pain free; rather, she feels it and lets it show through her act. This makes me cry every so often, because you really do have to surrender to the tissu for it to be beautiful. It will remain, a simple bolt of strength in fabric hanging from the ceiling. You can gyrate around it all you please, and it will wear you out.
