2008 Fort Vancouver 4th of July Fireworks Finale (Hayden Bay POV)

Yeah, here's the finale of the Fort Vancouver Fireworks Display, which is self-proclaimed as the largest fireworks display west of the Mississippi River.

We own a boat in the Hayden Bay Marina (Portland, Oregon) across the Columbia River from the barge that shot the fireworks, which was an interesting vantage point due to the reflection of the water as well as the direct vicinity. Also, there weren't that many obstacles other than a few security Coast Guard boats restricting boaters to leave the harbor.

Due to our lovely global economy, there will be no Fort Vancouver fireworks show for 2009.

i was on the Portland side nd at the end my friend and i shot our bottle rockets at the end when dere was no more fireworks

It depends by city and county... Supposedly, this was the last year that mortars are legal in Clark County.
