Sen. Sanders spoke out against a resolution which would dismantle strong environmental rules issued by the Environmental Protection Agency to address global climate change.

First science was the enemy of the church. Scientists like Galileo, Francis Bacon were threatened with torture and often incarcerated for speaking the truth...that was the Dark Ages. Now we have the same kind of ignorance from business, from Tea-Baggers, paid corporate mouthpieces like Beck and Limbaugh and low life media Barons like Rupert Murdoch and Fox news. We have to stand up to ignorance. We can no longer afford to let the village idiots run the village.

Ya ever notice that the anti-Science crowd is also the religious crowd.

The religious are trained to reject Science otherwise their faith based positions fall apart.

So, they simply reject all of Science and produce massive amounts of propaganda to smear reality. It's pathetic.

Whether it is Climate Change, Evolution, Atomic Theory, Quantum Mechanics or the Scientific Method in general, they reject them all with ignorant fervor.

Awesome. NASA, NSA, Pentagon, Smithsonian, NAS, NOAA, Scripps Institute and every national science body of every developed country on earth all say that the earth is warming from manmade GHGs. But Glen Beck, Rush Limbaugh and Richard Lindzen say it's a hoax. Hmmmmmm.

Meanwhile China is leading the world in solar power and Germany in wind power. We can catch up when the government gets out of our way and formally recognizes that we need to reduce GHGs and that the USA must lead the way.

Richard Lindzen's latest paper shows CO2 to be a minor greenhouse gas.

I think we can all agree the globe is warming, it has warmed and cooled many many times, long before we were even around. The issue is about weather we are the driving factor by way of CO2 emissions. The real science from the IPCC shows this to be false and that our current warming is at a natural rate, as has happened many times as mentioned before. Cosmic Rays and Solar Radiance causes this as it always has. CO2 does promote warming, only it is barley measurable in comparison to water vapour.
