College students aren't just carrying massive text books around campus, they also have the burden of debt. National numbers show us student loan debt is now greater than credit card debt.

University of Utah senior Cody Myers puts it pretty simply. For him "it's just a way of getting through college."

It's a touchy situation, bury yourself in debt for a college degree. New numbers show it's a go to solution. Student loans have grown past other debts. Here are the numbers $838 Billion in revolving credit (including credit cards). Compare that to student loans, totaling $850 Billion.

Um, yeah. Student loan debt now: about 70K for my bachelors and MBA. Credit card debt I have? Only about 6K. And you know what else? People are staying in school since they are not working - as long as you are in school half time- the loan companies will not come after you. So, freaking HIRE US people... so we can pay our loans back! Stop looking at our stupid credit score and say "Oh, she's in debt!" DUH. Ya think if you hire us, we'd pay our bills?

Just wondering, where is the 850billion going?... We shouldn't allow colleges to charge that much for a mystery right?
