The Tea Party's Racist Roots

If you think that the Tea Partiers are just a bunch of misinformed republicans who hate paying taxes, think again. According to the Southern Poverty Law Center who monitors the activities of extremist hate groups, the Tea Party is actually helping to strengthen the white supremacist movement in America, and has helped to re-energize some specific hate groups that were on the verge of extinction. Mike Papantonio talks about this with Mark Potok, editor of the SPLCs monthly Intelligence Report.

@911insidejo8 No...you're confusing an ineffficent bureaucratic response by FEMA (and gov Kathleen Blanco's reluctance to allow FEMA into her state) with overt hatred by one race/ethnicity against another which is ostensibly what the SPLC is for.

I agree that the US military is killing WAY MORE than any terror group on earth, but that's one of the evils of government and how they can justify mass killings (usually for other people's resources).

How about hate groups that are trained and on government payroll to pillage Iraq, Afghan and such? Why is the military exempt from being tagged a hate group when they are occupying, killing and stealing for the predatory ruling class?
