A pom I wrote just previously called 'the lost generation'- centralised oaround the state of England now. Hope you enjoy it.

I am the lost generation
Sitting down
At my screen

I am no motion
Or sociality
Only me

Lost to all hope
Optimism has frowned
And I'm left to fend alone

I am the lost generation
An emblem of your past
Twiddling my thumbs

How long can I last?
Abandoned to all future
And forgotten

By society where none intrudes
By the deep sea
The music's deafening roar

I am the lost generation
Where will I study?

I am the stillborn child
Of a century

Born to be violent
Born to feel oppressed

To be meager at beginnings
To bear a weakened breast

I am a lost generation
And where will I meet?
Apart from at the clubhouse

The corner of the street
Will be my dwelling place
I'm fallen from the tree

I am the unheard chronicle
Of bad company

For now
I'll squabble over utterance
I'll roll up in defeat

I am the lost generation
Will no-one answer me?
