A video created from the High-Speed Rail Design Workshop in Palo Alto on Oct. 3-4, 2009. This workshop explored ideas on how the California High-Speed Rail could come though the Peninsula and how that would fit, focusing on Palo Alto, Menlo Park, and Atherton.

This won't be built .. A lot of energy wasted in these workshops!

Why not place retail shops in the bottom in th elevated structure option? This could essentially create a new retail corridor through Palo Alto and result in tax returns for the city. Not to mention it would help to build HSR for the cheapest cost and still make it look as if the tracks weren't there.
