I wasn't exactly a fan of Hathaway, but I always like this song and the way Hathaway sang it. It's funny, but I ask people who claim to be fans of Hathaway whether they remember "Magnificent Sanctuary Band," and they look at me puzzled as if I'm crazy. "Hey, white boy," they seem to be saying, "what are you talking about!?" I'm talking about what may have been Hathaway's best song ever, that's what I'm talking about! Anyway, thanks for bringing back memories for me!
