Whats the point comparing a rusty bucket to a Rolls-Royce?

If you check under the tang on the Finnish M39 you can find the original date and factory of manufacture. It is pretty common to have pro 1899 rifles with M39s

An average accuracy for a M39 is about 1.5 - 2" group at 100yds range. The rifle was very ecological since they were assembled mostly from parts taken from captured M91 rifles. Mostly only barrels, stocks and sights were manufactured in Finland.
Plenty of Remington and Westinghouse made parts were used on finn mosins. During the finnish civil war in 1918 finnish red guards were supplied by fresh shipments of US made M91's, which were later captured by the finnish army.

The M39 was designed in late 30's and was based on the earlier M28-30 (the rifle used by the Simo Häyhä). The stock design was based on the swiss K31, as you can see it is very similar to it. The first M39 prototypes were made late 1939, but the start of mass-production was interrupted by the winter war.
The final revision of the M39 was also designed to be able to shoot captured russian ammo. The reason why it has .310 bore diameter instead of the original .308 like the M28-30 has.

Because like most men...my attention is drawn to movement. So when you foot entered the scene (at 1:41)...I couldn't help but notice. :)
Nice rifles! Put some shoes on next time though. :)
