@700gsteak Yes, you may know her as the Megpoid GUMI, but in this case she is Ranke Lee.

nothing touches the original, but this is fucking beautiful.

I was sort of dissatisfied when I learned that they didn't use this song in the actual movie, \: ...

@aleste666 Kinda hard when the Vajura don't really have a language, it's a wireless communication protocol, that needs a human being gateway to draw meaning from.

@RichterX83 YOU JUST BLEW MY MIND. I never even thought about that!

Esta es la canciòn màs bella que yo haya tenido el honor de escuchar en mi vida. Larga vida a la saga MACROSS.
This is teh most beatiful song that I had had the honor to hear in my lifetime. Hail MACROSS saga.

Because of Macross Frontier , I fell in love w/ Do you remember, I think this will be something always imbedded into your culture, I wish for ffs that Harmony Gold would give up the damn rights and let the original markers of Macross publish all this back in the U.S the newer generation is missing out on this and the only way for anyone to enjoy this is going to anime streaming websites.

Excellent job in this clip. I cannot express all what I feel in words with this song. Like all the versions of it but i think Ranka´s is the best so far, the arrange and mixing is just adjusted to the moment.. like M. plus did with Sharon Apple...Wish the makes had put more cameos like the one for FireBomber (that was for more "mature listeners")
this fits fantastically with the video, even though in the episode the song is cut off when alto's VF-171EX gets hit.

I slowed down the explosion of the VF-171EX and the ending of the video to make it fit better.

this version is awsome for modern times, it is kinda different cuz this time it was used AGAINST humanity, rather than the original was used to SAVE humanity. It has a "haunting" kinda sound to it. the original had a "inspirational" sound

Something else, take in consideration that later on Aimo is revealed to be a love song for the Vajra translating Aimo into Dear.
If you consider that Aimo is an ancient Vajra love song that was used to distract and kill them.
Grace choice of the "Ancient Protoculture" love song to bring the death of Frontier was the most appropriate.
