  • Totally awesome! Thanks for sharing, really appreciated!

  • @randomforum You're welcome.

  • I woke up with this in my head this morning and I couldn't get on with things till I found a satisfying version of it--and you've done it! Thanks. Great piece, full of memories for me.

  • @1footonthedawn Thanks, and You're Welcome.

  • I have a music question you might be able to answer. Is this the tune that is played in those old Mountain Dew commercials? The ones that use the slogan Get that barefoot feeling. They sound very much alike. Also is part of this music the same as "What a laugh it would have been if Daddy had only seen" from I saw mommy kissing Santa Clause?

  • @nostalgiajunkie70 I don't know if this was the song used for the Mt. Dew commercial, but there is a short refrain, as you mentioned that is almost the same as I saw Mommy... thanks, Allen Dale.

  • Hey, really good job! It made me smile. There is clearly not enough music being played like this in popular culture at the moment! Ahh sigh.. :)

  • Wish they had that available on iTunes!!!

  • @22483511, yes,I have seen many videos by different singers. I discovered the song after watching a clip from one of James Cagney's movies. Fats Domino sings a version that is my fav so far.

  • @nostalgiajunkie70 Just as a matter of interest which you might already know. The words in the song where you start "What a laugh....etc" are I'm gonna dance away my shoes when they play those Jelly Roll Blues,Tomorrow night at the Darktown Strutters Ball " This really brings back some memories of my youth.

Being in UK don't know about the Commercial reference.

  • @StellarXplorer thanks

  • @JubalCalif You're welcome.
