I have the lg ally right now but I am going to change over to the droid they ally is ok but the droid just seems better to me plus after about a month of having the ally it started to slow down

@sherryjeanhughes The original Motorola DROID is no longer available -- the current version is the DROID 3, which is *much* better than the original DROID or the LG Ally. In a few weeks, Verizon will launch the DROID 4, which is better still.

@salsama12 I don't think that Wirefly carries the Ally anymore, so a Schmackdown ain't gonna happen. FWIW, there's a DROID 4 a few weeks away.

Take a look at their current versions. The lg enlighten is a low end- midrange android while the droid 3 is highend

Also, my boyfriend had the first droid, and his broke within about 3 months. So everyone's experience will be different.

I have a droid x and its a piece of shit. I went through 2, each one within a matter of months, and I treat my phones well. It deleted all my media, it restarts on its own or wont come out of sleep. But honestly, you cant say "Ally is better than droid" or "Droid is better than Ally" because everyones situations will be different. For me, Droid was shitty. So I bought an Ally today. Well see how that does.
