ARMY L85 Magnetic Trigger Test 3, Upper Installed

I've installed a paintball style trigger with magnetic return spring in my army L85. This is based on a "dumb" SW-Panther and a custom circuit based on a basic stamp 1.

This test I put the 550 FPS upper on it (the 600FPS is down for some mods) and test fired it. The recoil bounced the whole thing back too much to walk it, and even with the LiPo the half-dead motor isn't cycling the gearbox fast enough to get the full advantage.

I have new gears to put in it and a few new motors to try in order to get it up the the response I want.

This is a DMR.... It's somthing like 650 now (PSG-1 400% kit).

For motors, any Neodymium based one will put out a plenty fast ROF with a big enough LiPo ;). 13-14FPS is plenty for a "simi only" dmr. 30-35 is the average for my 450 FPS "normal" guns.

Unless you put a high touque motor in then the standard motor will not cycle very fast at 550fps, either get a new motor or drop your fps. you dont need more than 350fps for an aeg
