@hairysuit Australians are MAJORITY of either Irish, Scottish, English, Welsh and sometimes German background. 1,803,741 of Australians are of Irish background, including myself..and sorry mate, but i'm Irish. Hence my last name O'brien and my mothers Mcsweeney which goes back years since arrival. Majority of Australians who live here in Melbourne are Irish also, considering we all have surnames starting with Mc or O'. & We all know our family history, you don't. We are also mostly Catholic.

@AniisaCaali You're not Irish, you're Austrailian with Irish descent, and theres no need to be a twat about it. To be Irish you either have to be born there or have a citizenship there like any other country, you just can't pick your nationality mate.
