@strikerk except the new mixes still have plenty of "danceable" songs in them - it's just that Konami provided the hardcore players with even harder stuff because they wanted it. We can argue that bar raping is a bad play practice, but the fact of the matter is the that the bar is there, Konami gave it to us, and you can use it to get higher score.

@XyHavix Depends on what you consider success, because most of DDR is dead, and many players don't even play it anymore. If songs had to increase because the only way people could be 'successful' is by holding the bar~ that it lost the purpose of being danceable~ then you have the crux of why DDR was no longer the accessible fun it was to people for nearly a decade.
