Here is the CORRECT info...This song was written by Reba Rambo and Dony McGuire. It is part of a GRAMMY award winning project called: "The Lord's Prayer." It recieved one of the LONGEST standing ovations in grammy history after Reba and Dony performed it live. Later, Donna Summer ALSO won a grammy when she recorded the song in 1985. Reba Rambo MeGuire is an AMAZING singer and songwriter!

Donna Summer wrote and recorded this song for her 1984 album, Cats Without Claws earning her a Grammy award for best Gospel Recording. This woman, whoever she is, does the song NO justice!

It doesn't move me spiritually because she isn't singing a feeling or an emotion or a spiritual closeness to Christ, but singing with so much personal stylization that it robs the song of its feeling and meaning. If this were the gong show, I would have gonged her a very long time ago.
