A bit of advice your presenting yourself as a learned person, however you have looked down at your notes 39x It seems as thou your nervous & just came into the knowledge. Looking dwn to make sure you didn't make a mistake or forget. Memorization & Eye contact is very important when teaching. Since your starting a new practice I suppose & want to attract clientele.

  • @cronicjointpain See my comments to the other guy who told you to "just try it". I've been doing research lately to write several papers on psychological problems.

    Basically, the suggestions in this video are the same as telling a person who's overweight to do push ups. Will doing push ups make you lose weight? Sure. But of course it's millions of times more effective to use push ups as part of an overall compreshensive strategy, and not rely on just push ups alone.

  • @ejacobson1 I believe "the only way to know if it works is to try it yourself" is not what cronic wanted to know. He may have been asking for some scientific validity to the statements being given in this vid. There are tens of thousands of whacky new-age hippy guru self-help nonsense being touted as cure-alls these days. We dont have time to try them all. If the statements come with some evidence or scientific backing, that greatly increases a person's confidence.

  • @cronicjointpain Well, have you tried it? And have you tried the other helpful videos on this subject? Homeotherapy and related thermopuncture has helped many people. The only way to know if i t works for you, is to try it for yourself. If you have an open mind, and an open heart, many things are possible to help you. It all sounds like bullshit until you see a change in your life :) Best of luck to you. Many suffer from depression and anxiety (myself very much included).

  • @cronicjointpain Ourminds and bodies are often caught in habits, and these habits often have a profound effect on our life. Anger can be a habit, stress can be a habit, anything can be a habit, even if some of these things can stem from things like losing a job, or losing a significant other. While you can't remove the immediate problem (loss of job, girlfriend problems), you can train your body to not fall into the habit of extreme depression or anxiousness. And this will help.
