  • @themaniusedtob I am 41 and I have no G.E.D because I too suffer with Dyscalculia as well as other learning Disabilities. I lost my job 4 years ago and I feel as though no-one will ever hire me because I have no-education, and have trouble understanding certain tasks. I just recently found out what it is called, where as before, I thought I was uniquely screwed. I still don't know what to do to this day about it, but I hope I find help somewhere. Good luck to you my friend.

  • Well, at least there is some sort of cure!

    Thanks for sharing this information!

  • This is a nice video you are kind to post these help videos.

  • "Public school or private school..." Haha, such a state of mindless indoctrination our culture has been shut in with, wow. You never even mentioned home school. Trust me, *no one* cares more about your child than you do--who do you think that makes the best person to care for and teach them, then?

  • The video statements are correct. I denied my son's special education, because school system has no clues how to help my son to learn. They can not even id what my son knows. Once the IEP meeting is over, the IEP team has no clues what other therapists/teachers are doing with my child,. Another words; "the right hand don't know what the left hand is doing." The school system is not supportive in a hoslistic form of teaching.

  • @akacatwoman1001 That's because smart students like you often stuck w/ student like my son. Instead of having student help each other. The school system just want everybody sit, shut-up, and don't move; so that they don't have to watch the special ed students. Many of the 1-on-1 aides, have never even seen their student's IEP!

  • This is very helpful and the same thing happened to me in my youth. now im stuck with no real diploma and cant get a ged with dyscalculia...

sometimes i think its to late for me...
