You Are Mine (A Jacob And Renesmee Story) Ch.1

(SOOO Sorry that it took so long! I've been extremely busy! I'd been planning out a sequel before I even wrote the first chapter! So let's get this sucker started! I hope it was worth the wait!)

*Jacob's POV*

"Jacob! Hurry up!" Nessie laughed. I walked over to her in my wolf form. I was so tired. There were some unfamiliar vampire scents near-by, and Sam and I were both staying out late to make sure that the Cullens (and any humans) remained safe. I didn't tell Nessie, I didn't want to scare her.

"Jacob!" She whined in her wind-chime voice, "Come on Jake! I want to know what's going on!" I yawned and then began to run with her. Carlisle, Nessie's vamp-gramp, had called us from out in the forest where we were hunting with some important news. And of course we had to drop everything to run over there.

We stopped at the Cullen's porch. I leaned down to touch my nose to Renesmee's forehead and shuffled into the woods to change back to my human form; I didn't want Edward to have to translate, I prefered to speak for myself.

"What's up?" I asked with a yawn, walking into the house. Nine faces stared back at me with the same scared expression. I gasped loudly and rushed to Nessie's side. I put my hands gently on her shoulders and looked her in the eyes.

"Nessie, is something wrong? Please, tell me." I begged. I couldn't bear it if she was in pain, or if something was threatining to hurt her.

She touched her hand to my cheek, replaying the quick, hushed conversation that had taken place while I was in the woods. Carlisle had been pacing the floor, waiting for our return. Edward was holding Bella, comforting her and trying to smolder her obvious fear. Emmett looked calm as ussual. He held Blondie cassually in his lap. Alice and Jasper were off in a corner, whispering to themselves even though everyone could probably hear them. Esme danced around the house, trying to hide her distress. I was seeing all of this from Nessie's point of veiw where she sat on the couch, holding Bella's hand and waiting for me so she could hear the news that everyone was stressing out about. Carlisle looked again to the forest; looking for me.
"Bella," he said finnally, "please inform Renesmee of our recent discoveries. She can fill Jacob in when he comes back."
Still holding Nessie's hand, Bella pulled Renesmee onto her lap (even though she wasn't a toddler anymore, it was still a sweet gesture) and smiled weakly.

"Renesmee," she said seriously, "tell me about what's been going on with Jacob."

Renesmee responded out loud for my benifet; she knew that I would be "watching" this later.

"Jacob has been very tired." she stated plainly.

"Yes, he has." Bella confirmed, "But why?" she asked.

"Umm...Something about unfamiliar scents. He didn't really tell me." she shrugged

"Yes, that's right. Renesmee, there really are some unfamiliar scents. Vampire scents. They are not newborns, we can tell. But we can't be sure that they aren't....vegetarian like you and I. They are not very far away and they seem to be moving deliberatly torward us. They could be a threat, a very big one. There are a lot of them."
Edward, who was watching this replay in either my head or Renesmee's, cringed at the familiar news. Renesmee slowly removed her hand. I pulled her into a hug and rubbed her back. My Renesmee was in danger and I would do anything to protect her.
