However the market lacks compassion. Is it wise to neuter government to the point where millions of citizens are uneducated,sick,dying,etc.? I agree we shouldn't have a nanny state, but at what point should government intervene?

Taxes are going up on incomes over $500K/yr. to pay for health care reform.

I read a book about the second American revolution, where citizen soldiers surrounded state houses and marched on D.C., supported by the county Sheriffs and state Guard units. Politicians like Pelosi were arrested and hung by the hundreds. Interesting book.
