@banjoell I can see what you're saying in comparing the two. They both are fantastic, but Hendrix takes the cake on this mostly because Hendrix cut Clapton. No mean of disrespect but Clapton and Hendrix go toe to toe not Santana and Hendrix because Santana is just to much of Smooth rock and he is a classical guitar player, Hendrix is an innovator, a free spirit. Even though his career was cut short he is referred to as "King Guitar".
