OK guys. I can settle this. I am a Japanese Bowie fan who also happens to be this other guy's fan (he is not an interviewer. He is one of the popular rock stars of Japan, Koji Kikkawa. He has had substantial success and longevity in music for the last 25 years. Back in the mid 90's when this meeting happened, he always kept his sunglasses on. No offense to Bowie. Koji has always expressed his love and respect for Bowie and even covered "Ashes to Ashes" in '98.
