I don't think it would be 1000, I wouldn't want to be near a big lister doing that speed! I would have thought about 600 would be more apropriate.

Would I be right in thinking this is a 9HP set? There is one lying abandoned in an old pumping shed near here, hiding in the brambles. The data plate reads 9HP at 1,000 RPM, 9'1'36

Does that have any water in it?

Yes the bottom outlet is blanked off and the water jacket was filled with water for a short run. It now has the cooling tank fitted..

The engine is currently in storage but it'll be out on the rally field on Shrewsbury showground at the end of this month so i'll probably do another video of it running complete.
