May 17th, 2011 was International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia. Members of the public service marked the day to celebrate the role of LGBTQ employees and their friends and allies in delivering strong public services throughout the city.

Public Servants from all orders of government, as well as the broader public service, agencies, boards and commissions of government attended the event. CUPE Local 79 and the City of Toronto were event partners.
