Hollywood took this amazing Italian actress and turned her into a "moviestar". I am happy for her fame and success, but I know there were many more gut wrenching perfomances in her like this masterpiece. Bravo diva, bravo!

What an amazing performance by Sophia Loren. So strong, yet is still able to be beautifully sexy at the same time.

I have to admit the tears came in the rape scene.
