@turuanu Yes most of them have very poor and dangerous technique. Your scythe blade should never leave the ground on the cutting stroke or the back stroke. Your back should be keapt mostly straight that is one od th ereasons they now sell adjustable scythes. The handles on the snath (shaft) should be pointing towords you not away. And you should not be yanking your body quickly it it meant to be a calm movement that is, when done properly, quite soothing in my opinion.
Isn't there a technique where you bend your legs more and keep the back straight? That looks deadly, for sure dangerous on the lower back in the long run.
