Apparently YouTube fixed the sound! Still, Will Barras made two options trying to get around the original problems:

And I forgot Physics World (dunno what I was thinking when I put together the extra dimensions bit). Steve Abel set me to rights (but made no demands): http://physicsworld.com/cws/article/p...
The talented dancers doubled as camera people, with some work by Neil Dixon. Stock footage is CERN's.
They'll have a lot of data to sort. 15 million GB per year, actually. Want to get involved and donate your computer's downtime? Try LHC@home: http://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/

There is no way in hell a black hole can come from this and destroy our planet. Mass that small would dissapperate before gaining more mass to become a black hole. Honestly there is a better chance of 12 21 2012 happening than getting a black hole from this.
Think of how many trillions of dollars have been spent invading Afghanistan and Iraq and maintaining presence there, the LHC has cost less than $10 billion dollars, closer to $6 billion actually.
So when you look at it, a massive scientific exploit like this, is a tiny tiny fraction of the cost of killing hundreds of thousands of people.
anti science idiots like you should be shut off from medicine, TV, computers, phones, everything.
1 - All the scientists at CERN plus all the people who decided to spend so much money on the LHC were born without an instinct of self preservation or simply don't care for their own lives.
2 - Those people do not know more about particle physics than you do.
AND (on top of all that)
3 - They are just doing it for their own entertainment, not for the progression of mankind.
Yeah right, I'll have the theory of relativity ... it's easier to understand.
