very smooth..gotta love her touch...great bottom fills..and I see where you compare to Jaco, but he introduce a sound there wasn't on bass and a style. Tal has hers too..give her time and she'll be known as the best in jazz.

she's brilliant...just so happens she's a cute tiny little thing too.....she doesn't hit you with the over welming chops of a Victor W or whatever but she is sooooo tasteful and this is way more mature than something i would have written at her age.

Sounds to me like she's got writing chops to match her fearsome playing. There's something about her playing that excites parts of me that other bass players don't get to. Yes I know that's a cheap shot - but in another way I'm serious. She's so melodic and inventive and never seems to run out of ideas. Her playing is exciting. It's exciting in the same way Jaco was back in the day - because it's fresh and original and you've never heard bass played quite like that before.
