I had become a nervous flier due to series like aircrash investigation etc etc.. Even recently taught myself through X plane 10 Commerical edition how to fly. These videos are teaching me and making me feel even safer.. keep up the good work! and i board my Vienna-Doha flight in 8hours :) then Doha - Melbourne :)

Just an incredible, engaging video to watch. I can't stop watching them! This is my eighth one in a row. I never knew that they could communicate with ATC without talking to them. That would definitely clear up a lot of chatter and keep the channel open for emergencies or high priority messages. Something as routine as climb and maintain being handled by texting is brilliant.

@gsadvanced Sorry discovery channel has now gone tabloid, they now only make programs for people with short attention span,  and who admire chaos as opposed to structure.

Guese for a while at least, youll have to make your own entertainment, the one we used to share has now gone wild to the point of no return. Its no longer about education just maximum stimulation in shortest amount of time. Its called the NEW !!!FART!!! culture

Pretty nice! I have lived in the United States for about 30 years now (all American!) but I was born in Sweden. I have flown in and out of Stockholm Arlanda quite a few times with SAS! Great video!
