@PoetryAddict8 She did tell people. She certainly told her sister. You must not have seen the end of the film
-
Yeah... But she wasn't thinking of herself, she was thinking of her family above herself, it wasn't about her like Rachel thought it was. She was trying to protect everyone else. Why do you think she didn't tell anyone?
DUH

@shitakeshiset Ummm... No, not at all. The character has a history of destructive behaviors. I think it was more of a self harm type of reaction

@cad2512 Its not hollywood-esque at all. A lot of people know this feeling, including - but not limited to! - me. In fact, its quite european-like. But if you didnt like this one, go watch the danish dogma movie the idea was stolen from. "The Celebration" (Festen) from Thomas Vinterberg. Funny, but in some ways thats more hollywood-esque. More sensationel but pretty enjoyable. Have fun.

Már nem haragszom. :)

I actually never thought of that. I just thought she tried to kill herself.

i used this scene to point out the fact that this scene is hollywood-esqe because its a little melodramatic...its in my long paper.....
Where is the crying just before this?
That's the most depressing yet wonderful part of the movie.
