  • @ferryport1987 NO PERO MEANS BUT

  • cool uds tambien hablan español

  • Movie stars and people in the city like to speak English because they think it makes them seem more upper class. People out in the rural areas of the Philippines usually don't mix English words and they use more Spanish. Here's a video I think you'll find interesting. It shows movie stars from the older Philippines. Most of them look Spanish.

  • oh yeah ive seen the show via internet and it looks way better than the regular version...i mean Marian is perfect to be the Thalia of Asia...though i wish i can understand it...ima leaen Tagalog so i can understand it and see the shows with no problemo...though you guys can speak english quite well and in movies and drama shows...you guys speak more Taglish than Tagalog itself...is like spanglish...but this is what makes a true Filipino...speaking tagalog(or any language of the PH...and english

  • well i saw a bio of her and it said she was born in Philippines...but might be of spanish origin...i mean if you are a spaniard...then you might know more spanish than you'll learn in school...i mean i know english because i lived in USA for a few years...and well i've never heard a person speaking Tagalog while i lived there...though i hear it very often since i work in a Pinoy bar where many pinoys come to socialise.

  • watch this video and you'll see how popular that show was in the Philippines:

you probably cant understand it, but you get the idea. You can also hear a lot of Spanish words.

  • The woman in this commercial was actually born in Spain. She was also the star of the Philippine version of Marimar. Her name is Marian Rivera.

  • wow i was right...bcuz i see many shows from the philippines and when speaking in english they always tend to say pero which i know is but...since pero means but in spanish as well
