I recently modified my Pocket Laser Show from thinkgeek.com to be able to work with any laser I want to point in the gaping hole in the side I created, it works pretty well with a blu-ray laser and some stuff painted glow-in-the-dark.

  • i like the glow in the dark idea.nifty.gives a good tracer affect.

  • In that case, just for you, I'll post in it.

  • I don't, but I'll make one just for you.

  • Do you by any chance have a thread about this modification on LPF? I'd be interested in one of those spirographs if it's not too hard to wreck it. Thing is, I'm from the Netherlands so the shipping is like twice the product itself :/.

I think I'm gonna need some GITD paint... got an IgorT BR coming up soon, and maybe later a 6/8/10x diode laser.

  • It sure did at one point, doesnt anymore. I disconnected the diode and put a hole in the side big enough to fit a pen laser in with my dremel.

  • Very nice. How did you modify the spirograph to accept any laser? Doesn't it have a laser built-in?
