@IamEyalMarcosLevit you're not telling me anything i didn't know already. but in what concerns trance parties, you could hardly see IM perform in a party in which the line up would includes artists such as cosmo! it would have to be a more mainstream line up... i'm not comenting about the quality of their sound, but rather that parties nowdays are getting more "agressive"..this is (once again) a regional thing that maybe doesn't reflect in you area...

@mojoPiin Well I think they gained popularity just cause they are really good, I know for a fact that they still form an important part of whatever culture they used to. The last Album that's coming out is the first album they really have something different (Psytstep).

And just so you know, Infected always changed their style, no album was ever the same as it's previous and that my friend is not a mainstream artist behavior. They experiment and create new stuff and that makes them different.

@IamEyalMarcosLevit well... let's just say that the kind of psy that IM are producing has been for quite some time considered "not-very-trance-like"..this is a cultural thing, it highly depends on the type of parties/raves (whatever you want to call them) that you have in your area..with this i don't mean that their sound is bad (i enjoy many different music genres),just that IM is getting a little too "mainstream" to still be a part of the rave culture.whatever that means...

Excuse me, but what you are saying now is completely different from your last comment.

I didn't fail to understand, but you have failed to express yourself. "pretty much every REAL trance artist puts IM to shame!" is very harsh criticism.

IM are REAL Psy artists and despite the variety from experimental, industrial, dark, progressive and Full-on, its still Psy and very respectable art as well on their part.

If they make a different genre, it should be compared with the same style.

@IamEyalMarcosLevit you missed my point... i don't dislike IM..in fact i know their work and have followed them through the years..but as you said yourself, they make a variety of styles, and are getting away from "trance".. of course trance has evolved and changed a lot lately..cosmo can never be in the same "catalogue" as IM because they are simply different music styles.that's just what i meant,i'm sorry if you failed to realise that and just jumped into conclusions.peace!

@mojoPiin You are very narrow-minded. IM are one of the founding fathers of modern Psy and they are brilliant artists who happen to like making a variety of Psy styles and other Electronica which you happen to dislike, but its a matter of taste; them being brilliant and you being an ass is a fact!
