Brian and I walk the boards at one of the many floating raft houses on Chieow Laan Lake, Khao Sok, Thailand. The setting is serene, the lake is clear and cool, the accommodations are simple and inexpensive, and the food is very, very good. One clarification that lead to a misunderstanding later: the price was 200 baht PER PERSON, per night. including food. Very reasonable, as long as they explain it fully before you agree. I blame the misunderstanding on language... they did their best at English, and we simply misunderstood. I'm happy with what we got.

  • I'm glad my videos gave you some perspective on what to expect in Thailand. I did the same thing when I was in Costa Rica to give people an idea of what it's like before you get there. Enjoy Thailand and the wonderful hospitality and kindness of the Thai people. I wish I could go with you!
