(Fake) The Path movie trailer

Based off the Tale of Tales independent video game.
The songs used are the original soundtrack and Rachel's Song from Blade Runner by Vangelis.

The game is a curious creation. Partially based on the Little Red Riding Hood story, the one instruction the game provides 'Go to Grandmother's House' is a lie because if you follow it the game soundly tells you that you failed. The only way to 'succeed' by the game's standards is to wander into the woods, collect items, meet characters and interact with surreally placed objects such as a bathtub and a chain link fence. Once the character has met some mysterious criteria they awaken on the path, travel to grandmother's house which has twisted into a dreamlike nightmare, and then experience a disjointed vision, apparently of their deaths. It is undeniably unique and very well crafted, equal parts beauty and horror.

Ouch. Very nicely done. I'm honestly in the camp that the whole point of having it be a "game" was that it shrouds the inevitability of the plot - you start out thinking maybe you can save them, when really everything is already written and your only choice is whether to read the book....

But were there such a thing, and if it could be done well, I think the trailer would have to look very much like this. Excellent work.
