Does anyone else suspect that Beavis and Butthead borrowed heavily from these characters?
-
well yeah, its pretty safe to say they don't ship Nuclear Weapons armed, but this is a cartoon.

Gawd I miss the 80s. The Cold War ruled at our dorm.
-
Guess Uncle Sam trusted America's nuclear arsenal to a redneck truck driver that beats up his girlfriend.

Dont think the missiles would detonate if they fell on the ground.Think they have to be primed by a coded command from Barack Obama.Dont think Jac's car (which I think is a Chevy Citation or a AMC Gremlin) would survive running into an 18ner.I think the city they blow up looks like Dallas or maybe Austin.

I remember seeing this on Night Flight, in a section they had called "Atomic TV". Taped the whole 2 hours, and watched it over & over & over....
Loved this video best of all. Primo! And this is the best version I've found here on You Tube

Got my id name from this.Watched it so many times in 1986 i wore my tape to where it has tracking lines.Every time my friend gets behind a semi he says "fubarr 18ner feeb".I say "blow wheel". The guy that did the voice of radboy(Bill Kopp)did the voice for the WHAMMY on the game show PRESS YOUR LUCK.
Let's see... I was 20/21 years old when I animated it. You can see the pencil test from 1983 at my site, which also holds a much better copy of the color you see here. It was never meant for kids of course.
