  • what do you have in ur socks? because ur isolations are good but my practice poi only have tennix balls in them and i dont think thats heavy enough to isolate at the center of the spin. i've tried a million times and been spinning for a month... ive got the idea but what am i missing?

  • Yeah, I used to find tennis balls a bit too light.

A good thing to weight your socks with is rice. About a teacup full in each one should do the trick -- that should be plenty heavy enough! Personally though, I prefer to use some cheap plastic beads (in case they get wet).

Unfortunately, isos can take a while to learn. Don't worry. Keep practicing and I'm sure you'll do just fine. ;)

  • thanks for the tutorial :)

  • thank you so much for your tutorial it helps alot have been trying to learn it for a long time o and do you know were to get a cheap pair of poi like what your using

  • baloons full of sand work pretty well too

  • tennis balls work just fine i use them

  • i do isolations with glowsticks, its just a matter of dominating the move then you'll find it easier to do with any kinda weight!
