yes actually, it was reported by CBS (i believe that was the name of the news agency) and confirmed by the Pentagon. although when it was first reported (2 years ago) the figure was at 15,000- i just add\ed the numbers (which were put at 5000- 6000 a year). the suicides were then reported to have increased in 2009.
