A short film taken at this year's 'Wild Heart Gathering' (http://www.wildheartgathering.com).
The main body of the film focuses on the festival workshop: 'Sacred Ecstacy Trance Dance with Shanti & Co'. A sacred space guided by intentions and words, music, live percussion & sound healing (No experience necessary!).
The film was shot entirely on FLIP MINO HD - a very small and simple hand held video camera. I was interested in how the Wild Heart experience captured the spirit of the early free 'hippy' festivals of the 60's and 70's. I wanted to create an intimate portrait of the people who go there, and to mirror the feeling of warmth and colour, I found there.

wonderful! i'm all for the hippie festival, no rubbish, trashed lands, out of control disrespectful drunken behaviour, racism or tent robbings, in fact, everything i experienced at the offset festival last weekend in hainault forest....i never want to go through that ever again!
