Invincible is awesome.

i've tried to like Invincible on multiple occasions. each time I thought i was missing something so I would go back and read it again. the writing is atrocious. granted, Kirkman isn't looking to win any Pulitzers with this hackneyed opus, but i think maybe the biggest driving force of this book is Ottley's gorgeous art and the colours. the rest is clichéd teenaged superhero rubbish that masquerades as superhero commentary while miraculously providing no insight. terrible dialogue. ok at best.
