Rhodia Fashion Show | Oulan Bator 15.12.2010

C'est en Mongolie, à Oulan-Bator, la capitale la plus froide du monde, que se déroulait le 15 décembre dernier le Rhodia Fashion Show.

Sur un sujet imposé, la campagne de communication des 75 ans de la marque et ses 12 visuels mode et glamour, puis s'inspirant librement de l'univers de la marque aux deux sapins, 8 équipes de jeunes designers du Fashion Design Institute d'Oulaan Bator avaient mis tout leur talent dans des créations plus originales et inventives les unes que les autres. Un défilé époustouflant de looks futuristes et traditionnels à la fois, mariant le chic épuré de Rhodia à l'esprit et l'histoire mongole.
Une soirée aux couleurs historiques de la marque, où, des 81 sublimes mannequins au jury subjugué et au cocktail, tout était Orange & Black ! Jusqu'au point d'orgue de la soirée, la naissance de Rhodia, « très belle jeune femme qui fut transformée en bloc », interprétée par une célèbre artiste mongole.

Au-delà du buzz internet, cet évènement était en ce début d'année relayé par toute la presse et la TV nationales et témoignait que Rhodia a définitivement repeint la Mongolie en Orange & Black...

Rhodia Fashion Show | Ulan Bator 02-15-10

It was in Ulan Bator, capital of Mongolia and coldest city on earth, that the first Rhodia Fashion Show took place last December 15, 2010.

Inspired by the 75th Anniversary of Rhodia and the famous communication campaign of 12 glamorous fashion photographs and combined with a free interpretation of the iconic brand of two fir tree, a fashion show was born. With a team of 8 designers from the Fashion Design Institute of Ulan Bator, their talent, originality and creativity were unleashed and led to a fabulous and extraordinary event. A brilliant show where futuristic looks met traditional costumes, a tribute to Rhodia, a chic and minimalist brand, and to the people of Mongolia.

An historic and colorful event for the brand, with 81 models on the runway and a mesmerized jury and a Black & Orange cocktail party! The pinnacle took place at the finale, with the birth of Rhodia, "a beautiful young woman turned into a notepad", a role interpreted by a renown Mongolian artist.

Beyond the internet buzz, the fashion show took over the world of media, from magazines to national TV coverage, a testimony of the "Rhodia mania" with Black & Orange stormed Mongolia...
