Sometime in 1992, Steve Vozzolo and Joe Manning asked Arlo if he would record a song they had written about Norman Rockwell. It was a fun project. During a photo shoot at the Rockwell Museum, to raise money for the museum, Arlo did a "Triple Self Portrait." and it sold for $900 bucks!

The cover to the cassette is my favorite. I put it at the end of this video. Enjoy!

  • That cover shot is priceless!

I was enthralled by Norman Rockwell the man, and his art, from my earliest memories, and that takes us back to the 50s. This song says SO much about who he was, and the visions of us that he had. I love it!

  • che meraviglia, grazie!!! dario da Bergamo (Italy)

Sarah was here singing one year ago...

  • Great video. Kudos to the film-maker and to Arlo as always. ☮☯✌

  • This is great!!!

  • The pictures of Arlo reminds me of when Gilbert Sheldon was letting the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers get more and more sober one day ....

They ended up getting picture perfect before saying "What the heck!" ;-)

  • Thank you very much for this

  • Wonderful video !!
