it sounds like most of you are Christians...yet some of you want to argue about everything. Why not use your energy to get people saved :) Nobody is drawn to a bunch of squabbling kids...let's act like God's kids and focus on what is important...not your interpretation of scripture. Personally i have tithed for over 30 years and I am blessed. Whatever you want to call it...giving to God and His House isn't wrong! Try it and see what happens in your life...and oh yeah...this is hilarious :)

The sad thing here is that in the same amount of time it took them to dream up and perform this foolishness, they could have actually taken the bible and taught people the TRUTH. And that is, there NO BIBLICAL BASIS WHATSOEVER for the modern concept of "tithing". As part of The Law, it was ABOLISHED when the New Covenant was instituted (through Christ). And to "tithe" biblically requires Levites, a priesthood, and temple.

Lies through entertainment. That's all this is.

Like the video or not you cannot refute tithing/giving in the scriptures. Actually for those who are anti-tithing, maybe Acts 2:42-44 will serve better for you to sell your possessions and give them to anyone who has need. Yes churches have distorted and manipulated God's word for personal and selfish gain, but we are all fully aware it is all God's anyway. "Where your treasure is there your heart will be."

How about telling the people the truth about the tithe, that it was an OT mandate, not a NT mandate.. how about telling them further, that we're only to give what we're able, not out of compulsion(2 Cor 9:7), and tell them further the history of it... when a tithe was collected in the NT--it ALL went straight to poor areas/people-not towards the building and paying salaries.

The tithe lie and the worldly song(entertainment) are the great sins of today's American churc---I mean goats.
