This ringtail possum had been eating my grape vine every night so I decided to stop her by giving her something else to munch on. This video shows our 5th encounter over a 2 week period - clearly she isn't scared of me at all as I can already pat her all over as if she was a pet cat!

This movie was filmed at night with only moonlight and a small 1.5V torch for lighting so it's not the best quality but you can still see how tame she is. There's a few spots where it gets dark for a few seconds, thats when I was finding some more mango peels for her to munch on.

  • I'll trade you three ringtails for one of my brushies.

  • No deal. I'm training my 'pets' to be my personal army. A brushtail would start arousing the neighbours to my evil plans for world domination... bwahaahaahaahaaaaaa.

  • Ahhh so this is the possum, very nice. Roughly what time at night is this?

  • about 10:30pm
