Very Nice. And rare sight:
Air-to-Air-Missiles on the Wing

@swedishvolvo It's probably a combination of the US and Russia having the market cut out for supplying cheap fighters to poor nations and the fact that SEPECAT as a body doesn't exist anymore. You'd have get all the plans and equipment for manufacturing them together which I imagine when a plane is built between two countries might be problematic.

Is this from that three video "History of the Royal Air Force" set which had the shot of the Swiss Hawker Hunters flying in the Alps? If it is, any chance of uploading the Hunter clips?

@Griffy1989 I still think it would be cheaper to continue building this aircraft new while they retire the older ones for parts or sell them to other nations. This cheap fighter/bomber seems like an attractive export to countries with limited defense budgets. The Jaguar seems to be a lot more versatile then the F-5.

@swedishvolvo It's called Airframe Hours. Once they reach those it costs far more. Plus certain airframes have only a certain amount of modernity. Jag wouldn't cope under new tech. Besides government have to cut before new aircraft are available

back in 1973 my late father work on and design part of this aircraft very sad now its no longer in service with the raf

I don't understand why governments don't just continue to improve upon these trusted aircraft instead of spending billions to build a completely new aircraft.
