The runway at the 2007 Taurus World Stunt Awards is the only place where you can find models who actually light themselves on fire. Yes, they're hot. Had to say it...
i think they have something on their body some kind a glue or someting.. if u look closely you can see it...i think it helps them to keep out of burning...wow
This Stupid!!! As a retired Firefighter I I've seen a lot of burn victims and some that didn't survive. And to see beautiful models take a chance of disfigurement is stupid not to mention the pain and suffering! Any thing could go wrong!
@aalicha1 The gel they use to protect themselves is also what you see burning. They can put any accelerant on to ignite it, its the actual vapours from the protective gel that is on fire. Its a clever substance that has been used in different industries for years.....the gel hates fire and repels it...but the vapours are highly flammable, so it works well for this
Each move is rehearsed over and over again before the stunt, while the performer is not on fire. They know exactly what they will do, how they will do it and for how long. They also know what to do if something is not right. Most importantly, the safety people are professional fire stunt experts and the fire department is watching their every move.
Please do not play with fire, or try this at home.
Look close at this video, and these are not really runway models but professional stuntmen. They are heavily covered by protective gel, then backstage are professional stuntmen with heavy fire prof suits, gloves, masks and fire suppression equipment. Who quickly put these professional stunt people out.
The fire resistant gel is a secret formula, and so are the fuels! Plus each performer knows exactly how to move during the move, to keep the heat away from them.
wow amazing speechless beautiful art
