It's amazing how many entrepreneurs overlook the importance of social network marketing. Fear of the unknown and lack of knowledge about social media in general keep the best intentioned business owners away. But, the best way to get free publicity is to get involved and be in the middle of the internet crowd. This medium is providing the new and fun ways to promote your business online.
Despite what many think, the internet requires an outgoing and social personality. Just because you are not face-to-face with people does not mean you can hide behind your computer. It is imperative that you are visible on the internet to market, brand yourself and attract people that want to get involved with you.
There are several things that happen with social network marketing. First, it allows you to become active and meet new people. The more people that know you the more your business will become known. If you are in forums and posting articles, people are going to begin to notice you. As you start to gain trust, people will begin to funnel to your site.
I very much enjoy your channel and you have great advice. I have a question regarding something you said. You said that it is important to prepare your server for all the traffic that may come. what do I need to do so my server won't crash. How do get prepared? I'm a newbie and don't know much about any such things.
