An animation of an extreme zoom into the cells of a bee.
Created by me in After Effects.
How it's made:
Multiple pictures pointing towards the flower with different distance and focal length were put together and connected using a null object in AE.
The bee is made from two different bees in high resolution and the same technique was used to connect it.
The cells were generated in AE.
Finally I animated the null object using an exponential scale.
Thanks to Andrew Kramer and Lasse Gjertsen.

  • Great zoom, Could you make a tutorial please.

  • @2666679 Thank you. I actually used the exactly same technique as Andrew Kramer did in his earth zoom tutorial. It can be found at videocopilot . net
