@Hanson967 Only about 20 right now. We sold out in April of last year and are slowly working back up. Before the sale we were doing 60 milkers.

my grandpa was milking 40 cows before his hip broke and now we are only milking 14-19

Thanks Salamander! What that dude does not know is that I am huge fan of dairy farmers and am sick & tired of the government screwing hard working people in this country!! If I could find a part time job on a dairy to experience it, I would jump at the chance!!! See ya on TTT blog!! :-)

@Virginiasensomia have you ever milked a cow in a parlor im from wisconsin and milk 439 cows 3 times a day and geting slaped in the face by a shit covered cow tail sucks you probly dont know shit bout milking cows

I am in central WI help out on my stepdads 50 cow farm we have a lot

simler stuff you guys have like milking systems & tractors

@Mcphlange also note that most of the time cows kept in tie stalls even with zero grazing will be in much better health over free stall cows, especially with regard to lameness and all foot related diseases, because tie stalls are much easier to keep clean.

i think the public wants to support smaller tie stall farms, over large free stall farms, but just my humble opinion
