Peter Nero playing Chopin Etude Op. 10 No. 1. He uses this etude as a warm up for his daily routine. Who warms up with Chopin? He purposefully bangs through this at a serious dynamic level to give his fingers the ultimate workout. Nobody plays the piano like Peter Nero. He can play anything.

  • wtf i didn't know chuck norrises dad was still alive ?

  • This is good even by the standards of a proessional classical pianist, but he is a jazz dude just warming up. It reminds me of when Horowitz said he would give up playing if Art Tatum decided to play classical music.

  • @helloremr it is a sign that you stress them too much and perhaps positioning your hand wrong.

When you play correctly you should barely feel it.

  • I always warm up with Chopin - the etude in thirds and the very last etude, opus 25 no 12. There's nothing quite like them.

  • my fingers hurt so much after i play piano is that something bad?
